Ilyenkor is, -mint minden gyakorlati esetben- fontos a mérési hibákat nyomon követni.

A kvantummechanika kurzusokon szinte sosem kerül elő, de a kvantuminformatikában fontos fogalom az, amit a kvantumállapotok hűségének (fidelity) neveznek.
Ez egy mennyiség, két kvantummechanikai állapot hasonlóságának egy kifejezése. Gyakorlatban persze ezt is kofidencia-intervallummal adják meg.
